The Max and Mei series was created by acclaimed author Martha Keswick to provide parents with colourful and engaging bilingual stories to share with their children. For children learning Chinese as a second language, being read to in Chinese is an important part of language acquisition. The adventures of Max and Mei captivate young children with interesting stories they can relate to, exposing them to Chinese culture and strengthening their Mandarin listening comprehension skills.
